Michael has a growing collection of hymn preludes for organ that are appropriate for use in worship as preludes, voluntaries, hymn introductions, or postludes. Some even stand on their own as recital literature.

Michael has composed creative hymn concertatos for use in worship, hymn festivals, or other occasions. These settings make use of instruments, choir, organ, and support congregational singing.
Anthems
Michael has composed a number of anthems based on texts old and new for a variety of different ability levels. Anthems vary in their accompaniment from simple to advanced piano or organ, while others are unaccompanied.
